A regular on the Las Vegas Strip, Derek’s act is fast, fresh, and at times, fanatical. He brings the funny with tales about his blue-collar upbringing, his divorce, the holidays and his child-free existence.
A veteran of several USO tours, Richards was chosen as one of the first performers at Guantanamo Bay, Cuba after the base began guarding jailed Al-Qaeda terrorists. The comedy tour earned Richards national coverage in Newsweek. He also has performed at U.S. base camps in Iraq, Afghanistan, and more than 15 countries.

Brian Scolaro is most known for his appearances on “CONAN”, his half hour Comedy Central special “COMEDY CENTRAL PRESENTS: BRIAN SCOLARO”, as Brian on ABC’s “A MILLION LITTLE THINGS”, as Doug on TBS’s “SULLIVAN AND SON”, Uncle Bill on “TEN YEAR OLD TOM”, and as Stuart on FOX’s “STACKED”. Brian has appeared on “SHAMELESS”, “ABBOTT ELEMENTARY”, “DEXTER”, “MAD MEN”, “BONES”, “CASTLE”, “GREY’S ANATOMY,” “THE MIDDLE”, “SUPERIOR DONUTS”, “I’M DYING UP HERE”, “ALONE TOGETHER”, “NIGHT COURT,”, “THE LATE LATE SHOW WITH CRAIG FERGUSON”, “GOTHAM COMEDY LIVE”, “LIVE AT GOTHAM”, “COMICS UNLEASHED ”, “MEN OF A CERTAIN AGE”, “GIRL MEETS WORLD”, and has also had recurring roles on “KROLL SHOW”, “LIFE AND TIMES OF TIM”, and “WIZARDS OF WAVERLY PLACE”. He was also a regular castmember on NBC’s “THREE SISTERS” as Gordon. He has four comedy albums available on all platforms and is also the author of the book “How to Punch a Monkey” on Amazon. About his role of Stuart Miller on “Stacked”, The LA Times said “Scolaro is terrific. An actual sitcom find.” About his role as Doug on “Sullivan and Son”, Brian Doyle-Murray (Caddyshack) said Brian is “one of the best I’ve ever seen.”And Marc Maron said on WTF podcast, Brian “might be the funniest fuckin person alive.”

Graham Elwood is a national touring headliner (Originally from Chicago.) He has been seen on Netflix, NBC, CBS, Amazon Prime, Comedy Central, GSN, TBS and Hulu. Co-host of the podcast "Government Secrets" with Lee Camp. Host of "The Political Vigilate" on YouTube. He has been in Last Comic Standing on NBC, The Sarah Silverman Program and Nick Swardson's Pretend Time on Comedy Central. Regular on The Jimmy Dore Show. Director of the First Nations Comedy Experience on Amazon Prime. He has done 7 USO tours to Afghanistan, Iraq and Kuwait. Director of feature film Earbuds: The Podcasting Documentary, Laffghanistan and Graham Goes to Russian. Host of the Cram on Game Show Network and Strip Poker on USA.

October 20 - October 22

Bob Zany has appeared on over a thousand national T.V. shows. Everything from The Tonight Show to a seventeen-year stint appearing on, and co-hosting, The Jerry Lewis Telethon. Currently, he can be seen on Showtime in Billy Gardell’s, Road Dogs. His numerous film credits include Joe Dirt with David Spade, Stephen Soderberg’s The Informant, playing Matt Damon’s attorney. He also stars with Eric Roberts in 23 Minutes to Sunrise. No stranger to radio, he appears on the Bob & Tom Show with his Zany Report, plus numerous other radio stations across the country.

October 28

Hip-Prov is a game show where comics and improvisers compete in short-form improv games and hip-hop challenges. It began as a virtual show during the pandemic lockdown and can now be seen in-person monthly, every 4th Friday at One Night Stan’s Comedy Club. Audience members may also join in the fun by providing game suggestions and winning prizes.

Host Tam White , creator of Hip-Prov, is a local comic and improviser. She is currently a resident cast member at Go Comedy Improv Theatre and board member of the Detroit Women of Comedy Festival. She was recently mentioned in Hour Magazine as one of Mark Ridley’s favorite local comics. She is also a former Comedysportz cast member and has studied improv/sketch at Second City Detroit. 

Jake Russell , Hip-Prov’s judge, is a comic and improviser whose vast knowledge of hip-hop is unmatched. He is a cast member at Go Comedy Improv Theatre and Planet Ant. He is also the creator and host of improv shows ‘Represent’  and ‘ I ain’t no Joke’.  His one-man show ‘ Birth of a Hoe Ass Nation’  has played in Detroit theatres and the Chicago Sketch Festival .

Caught between two worlds, one black, one white. The two worlds collide in a hilarious romp of attempting to decipher black slang, and trying to fit in with white family members and neighbors. Their antics are brought to life right before your eyes. Born into a show business family performing is in his genes. His Father a jazz virtuoso, his Great Aunt a Broadway legend, his Mother the best damn cosmetology instructor ever to wear a smock. Legend has it that she was responsible for giving her son the first jherri curl in american history, but that's a whole other story.

November 3 - November 5

 Since 1977, DC Malone and his former partner, Hampton Nootcheez, helped lay the foundation for comedy in Detroit. Since their split, DC Malone has gone on to play every conceivable venue in the industry. He has been seen on Showtime, CMT and has been heard on countless radio shows, podcasts and network streams. He has spent 18 years working for the Department of Defense entertaining Troops all over the world. His intimate style of musical comedy has left audiences totally entertained for 45 years. In DC's own words, "I'll do this till I drop so come see me soon cuz I'm not as funny dead!"

November 10 - November 12

Josh Adams is a quickly rising Detroit Comedian who is the Winner of BET Apollo, has been seen on FOX, Centric and Netflix, Featured in Hour Magazine, Opened for Roy Woods Jr, Monique and DL Hughley and most recently seen on Hard Knocks on HBO!

November 17 - November 19

Bill Bushart was named the “Best Comedian in Detroit 2010” by the Metro Times.  “A drill sergeant with a smart mouth” said The Detroit Free Press.  “Best Bet!”, The Detroit News.  Bill’s fast paced, high energy, in your face of comedy has kept audiences laughing across the country.  He has appeared on Detroit’s “Drew & Mike”; WJR 760 with Frank Beckman and FOX TV.  He has worked with comedy greats Greg Geraldo, Lisa Lampanelli, Gilbert Gottfried and headlines clubs across the country! “A bitter pill to swallow” is how Bill Bushart describes his brand of humor.

Here’s what you need to know – He loves his wife, his daughters are a constant source of inspiration, and his hair is real. Also worth noting - he’s not angry, he’s just passionate about the inane topics he chooses to ponder. HE’S NOT SCREAMING; HE’S MAKING SURE YOU HEAR HIM!!! Zach brings his big energy to crowds across America delivering dark jokes in a delightful manner while pointing the finger of blame at everyone except himself. In addition to his debut album “Skunkman” regularly spinning on Sirius/XM, you may have heard him on The Bonfire with Big Jay Oakerson & Dan Soder or the hit podcast Dumb People Town with the Sklar Brothers & Daniel Van Kirk. He’s performed as part of Rock on the Range & the Best of the Midwest at Gilda’s Laughfest (among others.)

Here at One Night Stans, we care immensely about the health and safety of our valued Patrons. In accordance with government mandates and our desire to assure a safe and fun filled visit, we have established the following protocols for your time with us:
  • 1.  Mandatory Temperatures will be taken, for every person; employee and patron, before entering the building (Anyone exceeding 100.1 degrees will not be permitted entry)
  • 2.   Masks are required to be worn at all times, besides when you are seated at your table. This includes at entry, in all common areas, when going to and from restrooms and until you exit the building.
  • 3.   Shows are limited to 90 patrons.
  • 4.   All tables are spaced 6 feet apart.
  • 5.  Until further notice, you will be seated by our staff and not be able to purchase or request specific seats or tables.
We know these are challenging times but we appreciate your cooperation with these simple procedures. Please be mindful that the staff is only doing what they are instructed. We want to keep you laughing and safe!
